A thank you page will let you know that we have received your files. Larger files will take longer to upload, please be patient. File types we like: PDF,  EPS  &  TIFF (LZW compression) These are our preferred methods for receiving files. Convert all colors to CMYK or grayscale, (or spot colors if you are sending a 2-color job). Convert all fonts to curves/paths/outlines. Set the page size to exact size of the finished piece if it doesn’t bleed, add 1/8” on every edge if any edge bleeds. Please no crop marks or cut-lines, we will add our own. Example: if you are sending us a 4.25”x6” postcard the page size in Acrobat will be 4.5”x6.25” if it has bleeds. It will not be an 8.5x11 with a postcard in the center of it. Open the file to double-check that your export worked as expected. If you use Adobe products, Quark or CorelDraw this will not be a problem for you. If you don’t know what these files are or don’t have these software programs that is o.k., there are other formats we will accept. Microsoft Word & Publisher Although we accept Word files, we do ask that you send any unusual fonts to us with the file and that you approve a hard copy proof. Many of our customers do their layouts in Publisher. If you do, we ask that you bundle all fonts possible with the file. To do this, go to Tools-Commercial Printing Tools-Fonts - and check the box Embed TrueType fonts when saving publication. We recommend making a PDF out of your document. We offer a Free PDF maker right here on our website. Other file types? We also accept JPEG, BMP and many other files. Call us at (616) 842-0730 and tell us what software program you are using and we’ll find a way to get a file from you! A note about web pages & web graphics: Graphics, photos and images found online are not usually of a quality needed for clear sharp printing. If you use these in your documents do so with caution. Although we can print a web page as a brochure for you, please understand that background graphics, animations, fonts may not print as expected. We will require a hard copy proof be signed.
